Where can you find a truly beautiful woman these days? TV? Forget it. TV is full of actresses who could not make it in the movies. Movies? Not a chance. They are full of actresses who look like little girls. Fashion? Who can name even one of the new models this year? The only place we know where you can count on finding consistently beautiful women - and nude to boot - is Body in Mind. We started the site in 1997 precisely because we could not find any really beautiful women in the popular media. Comic book Picasso now "sexually explicit"

A comic book store owner in Rome, Georgia faces criminal charges for giving a 'sexually explicit' comic book to a minor last Halloween. The 'sexual' act in question was a depiction of a nude Picasso painting a nude woman.

The judge refused to drop all seven of the various charges laid, saying that "taken as a whole", the comic in question could be determined to be harmful to minors.

What's harmful to minors is instilling in them the belief that all nudity is sexual, that sexuality is evil. and that words like 'sexually explicit' no longer have any objective meaning and can be used to describe anything someone doesn't like - especially beauty.

The millionaire's Christmas present

Men like women. But they love nude women. They will work hard enough to kill themselves to please one. Why? To see her nude. Women are different. Women like men too, but their goal is to be loved. They like to be taken care of. It's a sign of their value from the man they love. Ask 100 men what they look for most in a woman and they'll say looks. Ask 100 women what they look for most in a man and they will say 'a good job'. This is true regardless of whether or not the woman can make a perfectly good living without a man. Supermodels always marry some guy who is even richer than they are.

Beauty defies Bin Laden

Osama Bin Laden's neice wants the world to know that she despises her uncle and wants nothing to do with him or his politics - and has posed for sexy photos in GQ to prove it.

31 year old model Wafah Dufour, the American born daughter of Bin Laden's half brother, is so tired of being connected to the Saudi Bin Ladens that she has purposely used her beauty to defy them. Her photos feature her sprawled on a bed clad only in ostrich feathers, or else in a bubble bath wearing nothing at all.

"Everyone relates me to that man, and I have nothing to do with him" she says.

A shower of beauty

One of the great things about being in a romantic relationship with a beautiful woman is you get to enjoy her nude body in so many casual ways, such as when she showers, when she dresses (or undresses) or when you're simply lying in on a Sunday morning. Deal or No Deal - the return of beauty

NBC's newest game show, unveiled this past week over four nights, is a sight for sore eyes - literally.

Deal or No Deal, a game show that originated in Australia, is mostly a simple guessing game where contestants open numbered briefcases in the hopes that they strike it rich with the one containing a million dollars, or else get a sizeable offer from the 'banker' to settle for less. But its real appeal lies in the 27 beautiful women they have opening the cases.

These amazonian beauties are some of the most stunning women you'll see on television these days, especially in an age when beauty pageants are being taken off the air and Victoria's Secret shows are teetering on the brink of cancellation by the FCC. Their presence adds a much needed dose of glamor, excitement, and of course, beauty.

We're glad to see that someone in network land understands that beauty is something we can't live without.

Policewoman shot dead because she was beautiful

While the whole world is trying to pretend no woman is ever more beautiful than any others (Dove's campaign for real beauty, for example), yet another woman has been murdered, precisely because she is beautiful (more beautiful than others). This time it's a policewoman in Laval, Quebec. Read more here.

It really makes us wonder when people will realize that those who try to convince us that objective female beauty doesn't exist are cut from the same cloth as those who actually physically kill beautiful woman to make sure they don't exist.

Most of the news coverage of this particular murder has no idea what to make of the fact that the victim was a beautiful woman. But we here at Body in Mind know this is just another example of hatred of female beauty, one of the most virulent and popular hatreds of our age, hated so much that no one even wants it named.

Restraints on Homolka lifted

As if being handed a mere twelve year sentence for her role in the kidnapping, sexual torture and killing of two Ontario schoolgirls wasn't enough leniency, as if her being released back into society wasn't enough either, now a judge in Quebec has removed the limits imposed on Karla Homolka's freedoms, saying that she 'isn't a threat to society'. [!]

Conditions of Homolka's release forbade her from contacting her ex-husband and partner in crime, from contacting the victims' families, from associating with other criminals and from working with children under 16 among other things - all of which have now been struck down.

In a baffling court ruling, the judge gave his reasoning as follows:

"No one denies that (her) involvement in the horrifying homicides of Ms. French and Ms. Mahaffy and (her own) sister Tammy displayed unspeakable depravity," the judge wrote. However, "I hold that the proof presented did not establish, on a balance of probabilities, a fear of imminent danger."

With that kind of 'reasoning' why should we bother to prosecute anyone who commits a crime if "the proof presented did not establish, on a balance of probabilities, a fear of imminent danger"?

Two Breasts Not Bombs protesters arrested

Just as they promised, members of the anti-war group Breasts Not Bombs protested at a rally outside the State Capitol building in Sacramento, California. And just as the authorities promised, they were arrested for it.

Two women bared their breasts and were instantly handcuffed by police and charged with indecent exposure and disorderly conduct.

Considering that prosecutors threatened to have the women declared sex offenders if they went topless, the bravery of these women and their insistence on standing up for women is highly commendable.

"We are not here to perform a sexual act, we are not here to be lewd and lascivious. We are here as a political statement." Said one member. "War is indecent...I think the body is beautiful and peace is just."

Breasts Not Bombs denied right to go topless

Californian anti-war protest group Breasts Not Bombs, whose female members protest topless, have been ordered not to bare their breasts at an upcoming rally or else risk imprisonment and registration as sex offenders.

A federal judge ruled that the state has the right to arrest them if they appear topless at the state capitol rally planned for November 7th. The state maintains "that nudity would "create an immediate hazard to the general motoring public," expose picnicking children to indecency and present "a particularized danger to the public" because "sex offenders have been known to frequent" the park surrounding the Capitol.

No word on why sex offenders are allowed to roam free without threat of arrest but a group of topless women warrant a federal investigation

A day in the life of Nikkala Stott

What man these days can get real pleasure from looking at photos of a beautiful woman who is being paid to pretend she is enjoying showing him her body? Yet the majority of nude photos we see these days on most of the nude websites are exactly that: girls who are only too obviously paid to be there and pose.

Once again, Body in Mind dares to be different. We prefer a more modern style of more realistic photos, photos that project the true spirit of the model by capturing her in more realistic moments when she feels free to relax and just be herself. For example, Nikkala is one such girl, every bit as delightful and happy as she appears in her photos. So we created a day-in-the-life series with her in order to present to our readers a more rounded persona of one of our models, and Nikkala was up for anything the whole day.

We're very proud of our photos of Nikkala taken by Body in Mind favourite Michael White, because they perfectly capture in this modern style, the very real beauty - and the true fun-loving spirit - of one of the most beautiful women in the world.

Beauty returns to television

After a two year absence following the Janet Jackson 'wardrobe malfunction' incident, the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is finally returning to television.

This year's show will feature Gisele Bundchen, Heidi Klum and Adriana Lima among others, and will be the final Victoria's Secret show for Tyra Banks, who has developed a talk show career.

The show airs December 6 on CBS.

Chinese beauty standard unveiled

Beijing's International Cosmetics and Fashion Week has released the Chinese Beauty Standard, an eighteen chapter guide to objectifying beauty.

According to the standard, for a Chinese woman to be beautiful, she must have an "oval face, willow-leaf shaped eyebrows, and a mouth that curves upward at the corners. Her eyes should be 24 to 28 mm, with a distance of 35 mm between the eyes."

A museum of female beauty

Some female bodies are so beautiful that we think they should be photographed and documented and meticulously archived for future generations.

We think Maria's got one.

After all, if they'll do it for paintings, books, and other works of art, why not beautiful women? Or for that matter, why not a full fledged beauty museum with a section devoted to each of the classic female beauties we have worshipped over the millenia and into today?

Was Helen of Troy a wimp, or a superbeauty?

We in modern times are taught that Helen of Troy was a wimp, a pawn, a victim of her own irresistable beauty and the men who sought to own it, and her.

Now a more modern beauty, historian Bettany Hughes, is telling the true story of Helen as revealed in her studies of ancient Greece and Sparta. It's a story that projects Helen of Troy not as victim, but as the most beautiful, sexual and powerful Queen in her world, a woman not only beautiful, but totally in control of her feminine charms as well as the men around her.

A very good afternoon

Michelle Marsh was born behind her time. Physical proportions almost beyond belief, hers is the kind of 'impossible' beauty that feminists can't stand. But it is real, and as rare as a solar eclipse. Victoria's Secret window display under attack

A new Victoria's Secret window display has drawn the ire of local residents in Tyson's Corner, Virginia. Entitled "Backstage Sexy", the displays feature mannequins dressed in lingerie posed to mimic how real models often look in commercials and print ads.

One woman was 'absolutely horrified', while another man "...tried to get security to arrest them for indecent exposure". Mall management has said it will pass the complaints on to the store.

Help women fight for their right to be topfree

4 brave women who dared to be topless in public have been charged in Moravia, New York and must now defend themselves in court. This in spite of previous court rulings in favor of women being publicly topfree. This is like Black people being charged with riding at the front of a bus even though that law was struck down.

Aspiring model savagely attacked

An aspiring model from Croydon, England was savagely stabbed to death just outside her front door, stripped naked and left on the sidewalk near a garbage skip. Eighteen year old Sally Ann Bowman was a stunning six foot tall catwalk model who aspired to be a supermodel. Police have arrested four men in connection with the killing, including her ex boyfriend, but are still looking for a motive for the attack.

What's baffling is that no one says the obvious - that this girl was attacked because she was beautiful. No matter what the motive, whether it was a spurned lover or a guy she rejected at a club, she would never have been chased down, stripped naked and stabbed to death if she hadn't been beautiful.

Sex is nice, but beauty is better

Beauty sells. At least according to beauty philosopher, D.Bell, it does. "We've been told so many times - without proof - that it's sex that sells, that most people believe it without question. The problem with this theory is that it's simply not true", he says, "In fact, if you look at what is actually attracting people to a product or production these days, you'll see that it's not sex, it's beauty. No one is having actual sex in car commercials, or on prime time television - at least not yet - and if you look at what is actually attracting people to sex these days, that is, to pornography, you can't help but notice the exceptionally gorgeous actresses employed in it who are making it so increasingly popular. Heidi's a mom again

Heidi Klum gave birth to her second child, a boy named Henry, at a Los Angeles hospital Sept.12. He's the first chid for Heidi and her husband, pop singer Seal, and younger brother to Heidi's 14 month old daugher Leni. Mother and son are said to be doing fine.

No Sharia in Canada

Premier Dalton McGuinty of Ontario, Canada has rejected a bid to allow muslims to use Sharia law to arbitrate family disputes.

Faced with enormous backlash and public protests over it, mostly from women and celebrities like Margaret Atwood and June Callwood, McGuinty declared that there would be 'one law for all Ontarians' and promised to introduce legislation banning any faith based arbitration in the province.

This decision comes as a great relief to concerned women's groups, who see the introduction of sharia law as fundamentally dangerous to women. Sharia law has been responsible for death sentences handed down to unwed mothers and pregnant r4pe victims in Africa, for example, and using it to determine a woman's rights in a divorce or custody dispute would almost certainly lead to oppressive and discriminatory treatment for the women involved.

Over the last few months, Body in Mind has been working with several computer artists to develop a cyber model capable of competing in beauty with all of the lovely ladies currently dominating the nude modeling world. In our opinion, as far as 3d computer modeling has come in the last few years, it's still not possible to create greater female beauty than currently exists in living breathing women. And it just got a lot harder. Meet Kristina, a Russian model we discovered on the website of Peter Janhans. In our opinion Kristina just might be the single most beautiful woman in the world, maybe even the most beautiful who has ever existed. Even if we had created her on a computer, we wouldn't change a thing.

Muslim beauty wins Miss England inspite of protests

The reason so much abuse of women continues in the world today is because, generally, women won't defend themselves. Even a society that manages to put every single female into a garbage bag cannot achieve this monstrous horror without the help of the women who agree to it. The inherent instinct to survive doubtless would have inspired a rebellion among any normal women unless they had been actively and concertedly pacified by the other women in their lives, their mothers, their female moral authorities, their teachers, etc.

This is why we're thrilled that 4 Muslim beauties have taken on the responsibility of defending themselves: they entered - and one of them won! - the Miss England competition in spite of the wrath and attacks of Islamic fundamentalists. Incredible, considering the way much of the Islamic world butchers its women for showing even a tiny bit of skin.

We find it disgusting to live in a world where such brave and beautiful women have to defend themselves from monsters, but very encouraging that these 4 heroines have risen to the occasion in full view of the other women in the world. We think it is they - and not suicide bombers - who should be given hero status in their religion.

Fired for being too attractive

An attractive blonde teacher who liked to wear mini skirts was fired from the position she'd held for fourteen years - simply for being too sexy. 38 year old Caterina Bonci was a religion teacher at a state run school in Fano, Italy, but was recently let go because, according to church officials, she's divorced and that the dissolution of marriage goes against the will of God.

But Bonci claims her ten year old divorce has nothing to do with it. "I have always been attacked by female colleagues because of my attractiveness." she said. "At parent-teacher meetings it was always the father that came to see me, and I've been a target of gossip."

Mexican women's group wants ad campaign banned

An advertising campaign aimed at stopping the illegal consumption of endangered turtle eggs - reputed to be aphrodisiacs - may itself be endangered if the National Women's Institute gets its way. The ads feature a scantily clad model who announces "My man doesn't need turtle eggs because he knows they don't make him more potent". But instead of applauding the representation of woman as the world's best aphrodisiac for men, the Women's Institute is pressuring the government to stop the campaign.

"The institute is against this campaign because it promotes women as sexual objects." they said. "It is a setback in the fight for the rights of women."

Why is any mention of normal, healthy, joyous sexual attraction between men and women now a "setback for women's rights"? Forget the turtles, its women's sexuality that's in danger of going extinct.

Women protest for right to go topless in New York City

Almost a dozen women went topless yesterday in New York City's Columbus Circle to protest the recent arrest of Jill Feeley for baring her breasts on a hot day. Feeley's lawyer plans to file a civil rights lawsuit against the city for her arrest. "We have to affirm women's right to be top-free, just as the other half of the population" he said.

A spokeswoman for the police is said to have stated that it's legal for women to go topless in New York. There were no arrests.

In fact the only disturbance came from the overzealousness of a dozen drooling men who surrounded the women to ogle them and take pictures. If men keep behaving like that whenever women are naked in public, there will never come a day when women will go topless as a matter of course.

Residents come out in favor of big breasted statue

A statue of a large-breasted mermaid called "The Siren" received an anonymous complaint from a woman in Wellington, Florida where the statue is on public display. However, when the issue was brought before the Wellington village council meeting, more than a dozen residents turned out in support of the statue and its creator, Norman J Gitzen.

"To call The Siren obscene is not okay for me." Said Susan Salidino, Wellington Art Society member."The Siren is no more obscene for its breasts than my fifth grade teacher who was endowed with the largest bosom I've ever seen."

Gitzen himself added. "To me, the accusation that she is obscene, to me, that is obscene — totally unfounded."

The council agreed, and voted to keep the statue where it is.

German girls

I remember my childhood very fondly, due in large part to the fact that I was lucky enough to stumble upon several men's magazines in the back corners of my friend's garages and such places. Purely by accident mind you. Really. One such magazine I remember with a very special fondness because it featured several young German ladies frolicking nude in a field of long grass with their long blonde hair catching the sun the same way the long grasses did, and it struck me as I stared in wide-eyed wonder at the bodies of these lovely creatures that they were as perfectly natural and as uplifting as sunshine. It was as innocent as it was beautiful to see. I still think of these girls whenever the sun comes out even though it has been many decades since I first looked upon them.

Karla Homolka movie pulled from festival

Finally bowing to the threats of their corporate sponsors, the Montreal World Film Festival has grudgingly decided not to premiere Karla, the movie made about Karla Homolka's involvement in the r4pe and murder of three Ontario schoolgirls.

Let's hope dignity, compassion for the families and outrage over the killing of young women ensures that this movie finds it difficult to ever find a home.

Thankfully someone has made the effort of tracking the whereabouts of Karla as she enjoys freedom in her new home of Montreal.

The boundary between art and nude photography is often fuzzy at best, and no one makes us realize this more than super beauty Nikkala Stott. We have praised Miss Stott's charms on Body in Mind for several years now and have even declared her the most beautiful nude model in the world. She is as beautiful as women come, and we sincerely doubt that any artist could ever invent a more beautiful one, even with all the computer graphics now available to us. Nikkala is art, and nowhere is that more obvious than in this series of her by BiM photographer Michael White. We call it towel off, but nothing has to come off to see the beauty of this woman shine.

Japanese firm Sharanpown has created a line of pillows in the shape of Russian tennis player Maria Sharapova's breasts. Each pillow comes with tennis-shirt style cover, which can be removed to reveal 'more intimate details', and retails for $17. The pillows are currently only available in Japan, but may be released throughout Europe in the future

Toronto City Hall bans Miss Universe

City Hall in Miss Universe Natalie Glebova's hometown of Toronto has banned her from appearing at a Taste of Thailand festival if she wears her sash, her tiara or even mentions her title. Officials said beauty pageant winners are banned by a by-law that 'prohibits activities deemed to be degrading to men or women through sexual stereotyping'. The mayor has since apologized.

The Beauty of Jiggling

In 1940, George McNamara wrote a wonderful essay on the pure delight of "the jiggle": a beautiful girl in motion, and how so few people properly appreciate it. We can't praise Scarlett Johansson enough...

According to "The Island" director Michael Bay, 20-year old actress Scarlett Johansson had to be pursuaded to keep her underwear on, as opposed to other nudity-shy actresses he's worked with.

When Johansson was late getting to the set to film a steamy love scene, Bay figured she had cold feet and was prepared to reassure her. Instead, he found her defiantly refusing to wear a 'cheap bra' and insisting she would go naked. Bay had to deny her request to maintain the PG 13 rating of the film.

Fanny Hill and the great porn experiment

The U.S. government has recently expanded its restrictions on nude web sites and we're left wondering what part of the adult industry it will try to illegalize next.

Topless crusader arrested in Daytona

Elizabeth Book, the bare-breasted protester who won a court battle allowing women to go topless in Daytona, was arrested Saturday for exposing her breasts.

Book appeared at the Peabody Auditorium, near a sculpture of four bare-breasted Greek muses with a flagt read Sic Semper Tyrannis - "thus occurs to tyrants" in Greek - and a portrait of an amazon warrior with one breast exposed.

When she lowered her tube top to expose her breasts, two female police officers arrested her. She was charged with disorderly conduct, a second degree misdemeanor punishable by up to 60 days in jail and a $500 fine.

"I hope to decriminalize the human breast; our forefathers saw our breasts as a symbol of courage and strength," she said.

The police report stated that Book "caused a traffic jam (approximately seven vehicles) at the intersection of Wild Olive and Auditorium" and "pedestrians blocked the city sidewalk as they watched the defendant. The defendant's actions further induced, corrupted the public morals and outraged the sense of public decency . . . in a tourist area," the report states. "The defendant's actions constituted a breach of the peace."

But one of the few people who showed up was a Vietnam veteran who was there to show support, saying "I feel she's right. If a man can take his (shirt) off, why can't a woman? If you want to take your top off, I don't care. If you don't want to, I don't care. But women shouldn't be arrested for taking their top off."

This, apparently, is what police consider an 'outraged sense of public decency'.

Judge rules women can go topless in Daytona

A stay at home mom in Daytona Beach, Florida has won the right to go topless in public, anywhere men are allowed to bare their chests. Elizabeth Book plans to drop her top at the Peabody Auditorium this Saturday next to three statues of women naked from the waist up, saying she will be 'as top free as the statues'.

A judge ruled last week that Book was within her rights to go topless as part of a political protest during March 2004's Bike Week, and threw out her arrest and $253 fine. The ruling still only allows for nudity at a 'political or constitutionally protected issue', and will likely be appealed.

Book is not giving in though, saying "This is not over until Daytona is forced to recognize the unconstitutionality of their ordinances and statutes aimed at the American woman's breasts."

Beauty hating in Sweden

Team members of Sweden's Swedish International women's soccer team have lashed out at European football association president Lennart Johannsen for saying that they should use their looks to gain attention and make money for their sport.

Johansson was quoted by the BBC as saying "There are so many companies who could make use of the fact that if you see a girl playing on the ground, sweaty, with the rainy weather and coming out of the dressing-room, lovely looking, that would sell."

Players are fuming over his comments, saying "We're not here to be nice-looking, we're to play football."

But Johansson defended his comments - “All I was saying is that the women’s game must understand that they need sponsoring and publicity and positive results."

Sweden also recently withdrew their Miss Universe candidate from competition due to pressure from feminists.

Reality is beautiful

A lot of people associate female nudity with sex. Some, Americans in particular, cannot see it any other way. This is a real loss for them, because of it, they have robbed their lives of the many benefits and unique thrills that beauty offers us all in a non-sexual way. For example, we're sure many men would love to get Ashton naked in order to have sex with her. But imagine this instead, imagine getting her naked to do nothing at all, just to loaf around in a cozy chair and talk. You clothed, Ashton nude. Sometimes if you stop for a moment, and turn off your crazed sex drive, you will see another possibility - the possibility of having a naked woman in your life, in your home, and in your view, perhaps for hours, or more. Who wouldn't want a beautiful naked woman in their life all the time? To us this is much more exciting than mere sex. Sustained female beauty is much more enjoyable. In fact, we think most American men want sex so badly because it is their only chance to see some real female beauty up close. ;-)

Sour grapes from Thailand...

Despite the fact that the Miss Universe pageant is one of the most wildly successful television events anywhere, any time, bringing in a staggering one billion television viewers from around the world, theone columnist in Thailand is now reporting that it was a waste of money: "It would require a huge leap of faith to conclude that the antics of liberated females on the runway could actually boost travel bookings over the remainder of the year."

Antics? Liberated females? I don't know what's worse - calling an elegant parade of poised and graceful beauties "antics" or calling the women themselves "liberated" and "female", as if those two words shouldn't go together and that it's distasteful to be either.

Who cares if it doesn't lead to tourism -which we think it will, considering that the pageant was mostly a tourism commerical interrupted by long shots of a few girls in bathing suits. Spend the money just to prove to the rest of the barbaric countries sprinkled around that region that women aren't evil, that they don't deserve censure, ridicule or punishment for having bodies. Improve Thailand's image as a place where women can feel safe to travel. Celebrate life the way a Buddhist country is supposed to.

Disney digitally reduces Lohan's breasts

Actress Lindsay Lohan's breasts were digitallly reduced in the upcoming film "Herbie: Fully Loaded" because the producers were afraid of 'offending family audiences'. Some parents felt she was 'too raunchy' for the Disney film.

Technicians scoured through several scenes - especially any showing Lohan jumping up and down at a race track - and reduced her breasts by two cup sizes. They also digitally raised the neckline of her t-shirts.

Although Lohan is reportedly amused by the digital changes, she and every other woman ought to be appalled. There should be nothing more 'offensive' than deeming any part of a woman's body 'raunchy' or unsuitable for 'family audiences'.

Forcibly removing a woman's breasts may exist only in the digital world for now, but once the precedent is established that doing such a thing is justified, how long will it be before this insanity crosses over into the real world?
