Miranda Kerr defends banker for looking at her bikini photos
February 6, 2010 - An Australian banker became famous recently for an on-air gaffe in which a colleauge behind him was seen looking at bikini photos of model Miranda Kerr. The video went viral, of course, and stories abounded about how Macquarie, his employer, would likely fire him for his 'inappropriate actions'.
But now it seems, David Kiely will keep his job. Spurred on by Miranda Kerr herself, who said she was happy to support him, a Facebook group called "Don't Fire David Kiely" grew to over 1300 members and Macquarie responded by saying Kiely would not be fired.
What's amazing is that this is perhaps the first time a beautiful woman has defended someone for enjoying her beauty. In doing so, she's defended herself. And beauty, too, for that matter.
