I took these pix in the summer of '89. Summer was a stripper who caught my eye and could really dance. Back then strippers didn't crawl all over men, they actually danced, you know, Carmen-Electra-dancing-type danced. Anyway, these are the first modern pix I know of that purposely put the model squarely in an uncontrived setting without make-up, jewellery, porn poses or artifice of any kind. Other websites claim to have invented this kind of photography but I got it from 1960's mens adventure mags so it couldn't have been them.

39 Super Size photos of Summer by D.Bell Added June 1, 2002 |
You've seen her here, here, and here. In this set of Summer's photos we set ourselves the task of depicting a woman as she would look if she was in complete possession of her mind, her life, her body, and her sexuality, a proud woman, and a remarkably feminine one - an Amazon, if ever there was one. Created in the Spring of 1989, this series is prophetic in its early focus on the beauty of a woman in nature reveling in her nudity and strength of character. We know of no earlier series in this genre which was to become the largest single movement in photography in the late 20th and early 21st centuries.
