Classical literature and mythology is full of all manner of wet women, that is, of female sprites and spirits who inhabit lonely lakes, silent streams, and forgotten ponds. Most of these ladies are quite lovely, and quite mad, most, like Hаmlеt's Ophеlіа or the Lady of Shalott, having met a rueful end in the very waters they haunt, they are happy to lure as many lost young men into their watery oblivion as eternity will permit. See Hylas and the Nymphs. At Bоdy in Mind we don't share this malevolent view of women and water. We do not fear female beauty and sexuality, for though they be dark and mysterious as any bottomless lake, we eagerly accept what those depths have to teach us about life and our own souls, and we embrace the life giving inspiration their beauty bestows, every day anew, as fresh and mild as morning dew. We hope you find Lidiya frolicking in the water lilies as refreshing and delightful as a summer shower.
