They have not been subjected to some kind of inhumanly brutal torture or to extended brainwashing sessions by some aberrant cult; they still have the capacity to know up from down and right from wrong. Why then do they not know clean values from dirty ones? Why do they reserve special room in their philosophy for one glaringly contradictory and disastrous exception to common sense?
