The concept of female beauty is disappearing from Western civilization. A beautiful woman is no longer called beautiful in mainstream media. Today she is called simply and ineloquently "hot". Megan Fox is not described as a raven haired sultry vixen: she is not sexy; she is "hot". Sarah Palin is not described as a refreshingly young and attractive female politician: she is not beautiful; she is "hot". 20 years ago, Naomi Wolf convinced everyone that beauty was a myth, so that today the word seems obsolete. Now Dove soap has established that all women are beautiful, rendering the word meaningless. So then if all women are as beautiful as Alece, and any unusually attractive woman is "hot" (meaning sexy), how can we talk about any woman being simply more attractive than others? The english language it seems, no longer has a word for that, and western society doesn't want to talk about it, but female beauty exists. Alece is more attractive than most women. She is hot. And she is beautiful. We may not have a word for it, but we do have her to prove it.
