A pin-up a day

The beauty of pin-up art is that it takes exceptionally beautiful women, gets them unnaturally and pleasantly nude, and puts them into everyday life, which means into our lives. The situations depicted in classic cheesecake photos are always mundane or topical: a housewife wearing only an apron in the kitchen, a pretty girl fishing in only a straw hat and cut-off jeans, a soaking wet beauty covered only with a tiny towel, or a space-age beauty with a form-fitting space suit on the moon. Art depicts the way the artist wants the world to be - the way it could be and should be. Pin-up is art because it says beautiful scantily clad women could be and should be in our lives, every day, everywhere...including driving our old pick up truck in our latest set of Mіlеnа Mаy.
