The pillar that is female beauty
The sheer numbers of nude images of beautiful women on the web today is incredible. Many people would say the fascination men have with naked women is a sign of decaying moral values, and that prefering an image of a beautiful woman over a loving sexual relationship with a real woman is just plain sad. But the fact is, female beauty represents one's values - whatever we find beautiful we do so because we want it in real life. So a man might adore Maya's photos because he wants in real life what she seems to possess, be it beauty, confidence, power, or lifestyle. His moral failure to pursue these things in real life and in a real woman is his fault. Female beauty tells him to act; society tells him not to trust it, so he limits himself to impotent fantasies. Therefore it's those who deny the moral importance of female beauty that cause modern moral decay, and there are more of them, certainly, than photos of nude women.
