Man meets nature
One of the reasons a nude woman can be so beautiful is because she is one of the most appealing meeting places between two amazing things: human beings and nature. When nature gave us the power to think volitionally she also robbed us of all of our instincts. Maybe because she used the same chunk of brain for both, who knows. But the result is undeniable: human beings have the power to manipulate nature, even to destroy it, even to destroy themselves. No animal ever had this power, only Man. But when man destroys nature does beauty result? No. Or when he ignores the power of his mind does beauty result? No. It is only together that Man and nature survive, and this is why the greatest beauty is where Man meets nature, where the virtues and value of each is made more visible juxtaposed to the other. A man 'conquering' a mountain, a skyscraper by the beach, or a nude woman: all prove this truth.
