A modern prophecy of beauty
They say art immitates life. But it also works the other way around. Sometimes, if we're very lucky, life immitates art. Such is the case with a recent bit of brilliant writing by Body in Mind contributor Bаυеr Wеstеrеn, in which he wondered in words how wonderful it might be to see some nudity in a modern world class beauty contest, and also, how the world would really react to such a thing. Keep in mind 2 things when you read this amazingly accurate bit of prophecy, 1) it is a work of fiction not meant to depict any actual events, and 2) it was written on June 2, 2004, several weeks before Mіss Unіvеrsе, Jеnnіfеr Hаwkіns', dress fell off in a public fashion show, for real.
Mіss Unіvеrsе
by Bаυеr Wеstеrеn
The world revolved on its axis a little faster last night as an unexpected
and incredible event occurred at the 2004 Mіss Unіvеrsе pageant. Everything
had gone according to plan until the evening gown presentation. Jennifer
Hawkins, Mіss Aυstrаlіа, was making her final walk and pose when the front
of her dress was caught under her shoe. Her dress was ripped from her body,
exposing her from the waist up. Stopping to a quick halt, Mіss Hаwkіns
seemed shocked at first, but quickly pushed the dress the rest of the way
down her legs and gracefully stepped away from the tattered garment.
Glancing around her briefly, and noticing no dissapointment or anger at her
nakedness, Mіss Hаwkіns pushed back her shoulders, lifted her head high and
with a great smile, continued her walk and came to a stop in the middle of
the stage. The producers, when asked why they did not stop the show or at
least cut to commercial replied that they did not see anything wrong with
showing Mіss Aυstrаlіа's true beauty except that it came at the cost of a
very expensive evening dress.
To add to the amazing events, the contestants that followed Miss
Australia, from Miss USA to Mіss Pаrаgυаy each in turn came out on stage
and, seeing Mіss Aυstrаlіа in the buff, decided to follow suit. So, as each
walked towards the center of the stage, every contestant removed her dress
with the grace and beauty that only the fairer of the sexes can muster.
When the entire group had assembled, it was a sight to behold. Long,
brunette and golden blond hair fell across naked shoulders and, where long
enough, curled delicately around each exquisite breast. There was no shame
in either the contestants nor the audience as they posed in nothing but
radiant smiles and g-sting panties. Finally, after several minutes of deep
admiration from the judges and audience, the winner was announced. Miss
Australia, the woman who had begun this miraculous turn of events, was named
Mіss Unіvеrsе 2004. When asked for comment, Dоnаld Trυmp remarked that he
was glad to see true beauty admired and respected and that he would push for
a nude portion of the contest in the future.
Now an alternate view:
The world was in shock last night as another "wardrobe malfunction"
occured during the Mіss Unіvеrsе pageant. Jеnnіfеr Hаwkіns, Mіss Aυstrаlіа,
was immediately disqualified from the contest when her dress fell from her
body exposing the audience and millions of viewers around the world to her
nakedness. Mіss Hаwkіns quickly covered herself and ran off stage, but the
damage had been done. The switchboard in the producer's room lit up like
the Fourth of July with people complaining and demanding swift action to the
horrific spectacle. When asked for comment, Dоnаld Trυmp said that Miss
Australia would be disqualified, Miss USA would be crowned the winner and
the Mіss Unіvеrsе Pageant was in jeopardy of being cancelled indefinitely.
Thе Prіmе Minister of Australia disavowed any knowledge of any plans to
expose Mіss Aυstrаlіа to the world and said it was a shameful display.
See what actually happened here.
